THE misunderstanding has always been common among the ignorant people of every age that a human being could not be a Messenger of Allah. They rejected a Messenger just because he was a human being and took his meals and had wife and children like themselves. In contrast to this, after the passage of the time the credulous followers of a Messenger began to claim that he was not a human being at all because he was a Messenger.

Syed Jawed Anwar In 2015 parents' campaign against radical sex-ed curriculum when these Imams came under fierce criticism, they issued a statement on sex-ed curriculum in which they tried to satisfy both government and the community. But they failed. They did not post this statement even to their own website.

Syed Jawed Anwar After resignation of Dalton McGuinty, Liberal Premier of Ontario, the leadership election of Ontario Liberals was held in 2009. The majority of Muslim liberals voted for Kathleen Wynne. There were few candidates in the race who were adherents of traditional family values.

WHEN John Godfrey announced his retirement from politics, the nomination election for the Liberal Party of Canada Don Valley West was held in 2008. Abdul Haq Ingar supported Rob Oliphant, an open gay, same-sex married and international gay activist. He opposed a Muslim nominee candidate Mohammad Ijaz (finished second).

A Gay Bible is now available for those who feel the need to have their gay lifestyle justified by Scriptures. Verses condemning homosexuality are now re-written gay friendly scripture. Similarly, things are changing so fast in the “Islamic†leadership that it is not beyond the comprehension that gay-friendly “shariah†might be developed soon.

Imam Yusuf Badat of Islamic Foundation Masjid, Nugget, Scarborough, Toronto, decreed a fatwa on Pink Day (February 28) justifying and encouraging Muslims to wear pink shirts that day; however, he himself didn’t show up in the Masjid in pink on Pink Day. Neither his Qur’an students nor teachers of Islamic Foundation wore pink.

Syed Jawed Anwar ONTARIO Liberal Party under Kathleen Wynne’s leadership has been defeated badly in June 2018 Ontario Legislative Assembly election. She grabbed only seven out of 124 seats of the assembly. Progressive Conservative (PC) got 76 seats and formed majority government. She resigned from the party leadership, and this is the end of her era. Wynne’s political activism starts when she changed her lifestyle.

Syed Jawed Anwar Islamic Foundation School, Nugget, Scarborough, was unionized last year. The result is that the high school has been closed and the elementary school (KG to 8) is struggling to exist. The Islamic Institute of Toronto Academy, Islamic Elementary School, was unionized last year. Now they are now barely making it.
