Consider having your children stay away from public schools for a year. This move could lead to teachers losing their jobs and schools closing temporarily. Your concerns might be addressed in a matter of months or even weeks. This is how labor unions operate, and parents should adopt a similar approach.
Parents are not making a list of demands; they have one specific issue they want addressed: the removal of Gender and Sex Education and related celebrations from the school system and curriculum. They believe that schools should focus on teaching subjects like Math, Science, and language, rather than addressing topics related to sex and gender. They should teach ABCD not LGBT.
They argue that these topics should be taught by parents and religious leaders according to their beliefs. This would save the government a significant amount of money and potentially reduce social divisions caused by these sensitive issues.
Doug Ford is exploring various ways to reduce the spending. Many believe he should eliminate funding for Sex and Gender Education and related celebrations in public education. Mr. Ford, the suggestion is to redirect this funding toward more critical areas.
The Million March for children demonstrated that parents are a considerable force. However, as often happens, a small but well-organized minority dedicated to a specific cause can have a significant impact. This is why the LGBTQ community has had a strong influence despite being a small minority.
Parents need to wake up to the fact that they are at risk of losing what matters most to them: their children.
Consider keeping your children out of public schools for one year.
Hopefully, you will see positive results soon.
