PREMIER Doug Ford is absolutely right to sound the alarm on rampant spending abuses by Ontario school boards, vowing that more shocking revelations are on the way. Slamming past scandals, Ford recently exposed absurd excesses like someone expensing gum—proof that fiscal irresponsibility has sunk to laughable lows. At a press conference in Kitchener on the first day of school, Ford warned that when these expenses hit the public eye, "people are going to fall off their chairs."

Education Minister Paul Calandra is dead set on overhauling school board governance, and the province has already seized control of five boards due to blatant financial mismanagement.

Supervisors have been appointed to the Toronto District School Board, the Toronto Catholic District School Board, the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board, and the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board—decisive actions announced on the last day of school for many boards.

These interventions stem directly from investigations uncovering ballooning deficits, drained reserves, and chronic incompetence.

We wholeheartedly back the government's crackdown on corruption, mismanagement, lavish spending, and outright fraud. But we must go further: dismantle the entire trustee system to eliminate this bloated layer of waste once and for all.

School board trustees serve no real purpose beyond schmoozing in cafeterias with their handpicked cronies and stirring up petty politics. From 2009 to 2011, as co-chair and then chair of my local elementary school's council, I saw this farce firsthand. Trustees brazenly pressured us to overturn legitimate election results simply because the winners weren't their favorites—parents backed by the education minister of the day. Instead, their cronies scored shady contracts from schools, fueling a cesspool of corruption.

We, as parents from religious and traditional families, have demanded for years: defund all sex- and gender-related indoctrination in public schools immediately. It's time to purge these programs and free our children from the grip of radical special interest groups pushing gender confusion and sexual disorientation on impressionable kids and youth.

Public schools must stick to core essentials: Math, Science, and Language. Leave sex, gender, and moral education where it belongs—with parents, religious leaders, and ethical guides who actually respect family values.

The 2021 Census exposes the absurdity: just 0.33% of Canadians aged 15 and older identify as transgender or non-binary, with Ontario mirroring this tiny fraction. Yet this minuscule minority has hijacked our governments, ministries, education boards, and society at large, imposing their agenda on the overwhelming majority.

No religion—past or present—no civilization in human history has ever tolerated this fabricated gender theory, transgenderism, sexual disorientation, gender confusion, or outright apostasy. Why are we hell-bent on becoming the most degenerate chapter in human history?

Transgenderism will inevitably suppress birth rates, eroding the most precious resource on Earth: humanity itself. We must reject this madness now, before it's too late.
